The purpose of selling to customers is the same in both sales and marketing, but there is a clear distinction between sales and marketing.

Sales involves going out and selling products, whereas the main job of sales is to deal with customers at stores, etc., and the main focus is on acquiring new customers.

Sales is the job of helping customers who have already acquired a customer to make a purchase.

In other words, sales is about getting customers who are not willing to buy to buy, and sales is about helping customers who are willing to buy to make a purchase.

There is a difference in the skills required in sales and sales.

Sales people who are cheerful, light-footed, good communicator, and not afraid to be intimidated are welcomed.

People who are cut out for sales tend to be welcomed by people who are polite, earnest and calm.
