We are hiring an experienced IoT (Internet of Things) & Robotics engineer to improve our delivery of AI-related projects involving a fusion of traditional software and hardware solutions. We wish to expand our team’s capability to help us bring new products and services to market.

Our business originated in the field of human resources and we have created various web services for that sector. Now we're rapidly growing and creating new businesses in several industries, so we're looking for engineers who can help us accelerate the creation of new products together.

Day to day activities could include:
It’s a hands-on programming role with the experience to advise on technology adoption
It’s not a project management role
Influence and guide the direction of the solutions based on your past experiences, and ramp up the rest of the Team’s knowledge
Research hardware and software solutions for physical problems
Design, implement, and test devices and document its capabilities for future solutions

Salary	5,000,000円〜 10,000,000円 /Year - The annual salary for a senior-level IOT engineer is from 6 million yen but there is no upper limit as long as the salary is commensurate with the ability. - 8 hours between 8:30 ~ 23:00, with 1 hour of rest ※Completely flexible schedule - Employer's note: Employee expected to be on site in the office once in a week.
Welfare	- Weekends and public holidays, New year, Summer vacation *However, if necessary, it is possible to work on a holiday. The holiday will then be moved to a workday. - Annual paid leave: 10 days after 6 months worked - Other leave: Paid leaves (Celebrations and funerals), unpaid leaves (Child care, nursing and etc)
Requirement	【Must】 -English language proficiency -Comfortable working in an English language environment (rest of the AI Team converse in EN). *No Japanese required -5+ years recent commercial programming with a strong emphasis towards delivering IOT/Robotics solutions -Expert understanding of a wide variety of IOT/Robotics technologies -Confidence with Linux -Arduino or Raspberry Pi’s GPIO experience -Able to read a data-sheet and use it to interact with electrical devices -Able to use electrical equipment safely -Design and implement solutions around sensors -Able to adapt when constrained or restricted by hardware options 【Want】 -Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript -Experience with common AI libraries -3D printing experience. In special troubleshooting printing problems -Experience with printed circuit boards (PCB) design Knowledge in robotics including Motion control, planning, and error handling Japanese language proficiency
